A 36-year-old man suspected of killing another man in a gang-related shooting in San Pedro on Sunday was arrested after leading police on a car chase that ended in the parking lot of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Harbor Station.

The 20-year-old victim was shot about 8 a.m. at the intersection of 20th and Meyler streets, Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section said.

The suspect was arrested about 5:25 p.m. at the Harbor Station at 2175 John S. Gibson Boulevard where he led police who had been chasing him as he drove a red convertible.
