A 19-year-old man was in custody Friday for allegedly raping two women in laundry rooms in South Los Angeles, and trying to kill at least one of them, authorities said.
Darius Michael Williams was arrested on Wednesday and booked on suspicion of attempted murder and sexual assault, said Los Angeles Police Officer Drake Madison.
Williams was held on $1 million bail, according to the sheriff’s department. No court date was immediately scheduled.
The crimes occurred in December and January. The December attack left one victim hospitalized for several months, NBC4 reported.
