“Sometimes they are easy to find” was the conclusion of one police officer, who tweeted a photo of a car that had been piloted by an alleged drunken driver into the sand at Huntington Beach early Suday, police said.

Officers came upon the sedan when dispatched to Tower 4 at 12:30 a.m., said Huntington Beach police Lt. Steve Bushhousen.

“Officers arrived, (and) determined the man was under the influence,” Bushhousen said.

James Demongen, 27, of Lomita, was booked on suspicion of drunken driving, he said.
