Two people were killed Saturday morning when a vehicle went off the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Downey and into a tree.
The crash on southbound freeway, at the Paramount Boulevard offramp, occurred at 4:56 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:25 a.m., closing the Paramount Boulevard offramp for an unknown duration.
No other information about the accident was immediately available.
