An approximately 35-year-old man was wounded Tuesday night in a car-to-car shooting in the Del Rey area near Culver City, police said.
The shooting, first reported about 7:45 p.m., occurred in the area of Slauson Avenue and Braddock Drive, according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.
The victim, who was in a burgundy-colored SUV, was located in the area of Culver Boulevard and Purdue Avenue, Im said.
The two scenes were just a few blocks apart.
The man was conscious and breathing when taken to a hospital, Im said.
A witness reported someone firing shots from a white BMW with tinted windows, Im said.
