A suspect was killed in a deputy-involved shooting in Cerritos Wednesday after a deputy was struck by the suspect’s car, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at 5:14 p.m. at Alondra Boulevard and Studebaker Road, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez.
The deputy suffered unknown injuries.
The suspect was taken to a hospital where he died.
