A 72-year-old man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday in Inglewood, police reported.
Ronald Harrell of Los Angeles died at the scene of the collision, which occurred about 7:55 a.m. at Century Boulevard and Flower Street, the Inglewood Police Department reported.
The victim was traveling northbound across Century Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling eastbound in the number one lane of Century Boulevard, according to a police statement.
The motorist remained at the scene, and was not arrested or cited.
