One man was killed and two other people injured in a car-to-car shooting Sunday morning at Rosecrans Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The two who were injured were transported to a hospital in unknown condition, investigators said.
It occurred at 2:14 a.m. and some observers say the shooting may have been racially motivated, according to a videographer at the scene.
The shots were fired from a white Kia Rio as it traveled east on Rosecrans, heading away from Crenshaw, the videographer said.
Bullets from a shotgun and an Uzi struck a gray vehicle, which later crashed into a nearby pillar.
