
A burglary suspect who led officers on a high-speed chase Friday night was taken into custody in the unincorporated Westmont area.
The suspect was wanted by Arcadia police in connection with a residential burglary, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball.
The chase began about 9 p.m., Kimball said, and the suspect drove on the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the Lynwood area before exiting the freeway and taking to streets.
The pursuit ended about 9:34 p.m. near Van Ness Avenue in Westmont, according to Kimball and KCAL9, which carried the chase live.
Details about the residential burglary were not immediately available.
