Two people were struck and injured by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Hollywood, according to Los Angeles Police.

It happened about 12:50 a.m., near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Flemish Lane, just east of Western Avenue and the Hollywood (101) Freeway, according to LAPD spokesman Officer Ricardo Hernandez.

Details of the crash are still sketchy Tuesday morning, Hernandez said.

“West Traffic officers are at the scene but have not relayed information back to their bureau yet,” Hernandez said. “But there is confirmation that there were transports to the hospital.”

The condition of the injured people are unknown Tuesday morning. It’s also unknown whether the pedestrians were in a crosswalk when they were struck.

A videographer at the scene told City News Service the driver stopped and was cooperating with police.

No other information was immediately available.
