It wasn’t a good night to be drunk and driving in West Hollywood.
An overnight sobriety/driver’s license checkpoint in West Hollywood netted eight arrests, a sheriff’s sergeant said Saturday.
Four motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, and three drivers were cited and arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle unlicensed or while on a revoked or suspended license during the checkpoint on San Vicente Boulevard, just north of Beverly Boulevard, said Sgt. Robert Hill of the sheriff’s Traffic Services Detail.
Also, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of possessing a counterfeit public seal and forgery, Hill said.
The checkpoint began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended Saturday at 4 a.m.
Four vehicles were stored for one day, Hill said.
