A man in his mid-20 was fatally wounded Sunday near a nightclub in Westlake.
Officers dispatched at 1:50 a.m. to the area of Beverly and Occidental boulevards on a “shots fired” call found the shooting victim, according to a watch commander at the LAPD‘s Rampart station.
Paramedics rushed the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m., he said.
Police had no other immediate information.
