Three people were shot early Sunday morning in Wilmington, authorities said.
Just after midnight, police responded to the 500 block of Gulf Avenue on reports of shots fired, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.
Two men and one women were taken to local hospitals, all in stable condition, Lopez said. Each of the three victims sustained gunshot wounds to a limb — either an arm, foot or ankle, he added.
The suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, is still at large, Lopez said. The motive for the shooting is not known, he added.
