An 11-year-old girl reported being followed and questioned about where she lives by a man who approached her Thursday as she walked her dog in Manhattan Beach.
The child was walking her dog between 5:15 and 5:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of 21st Street when she noticed the man following her, Manhattan Beach Police reported.
“The male asked her if she lived at a certain address,” according to a police statement.
Officers searched the area with negative results after the girl ran home and told her parents about the encounter.
The suspect was described as possibly Filipino, 50-60 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue shirt and gray pants.
