A man in his 20s was found shot dead Sunday on the front lawn of a home in Van Nuys.
A witness in the 6400 block of Woodley Avenue called police a little after 12:30 a.m. to report hearing gunshots, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
About 20 minutes later the witness reported a man lying on his front lawn suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Eisenman said.
