Four people died early Sunday morning in a fiery crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in south Los Angeles.

The California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the accident shortly after 3:30 a.m. and found a single vehicle burning on the side of the freeway near the Gardena (91) Freeway.

Firefighters were able to knockdown the fire and found four bodies inside the vehicle.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP. It is unknown if speed or alcohol played any part in the crash.
