A teenager suffered a graze wound in a shooting Tuesday in South Los Angeles.

A male suspect opened fire about 2 p.m. in the area of 11th Avenue and 41st Street, according to Officer Sal Ramirez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and an ambulance was summoned to take the victim to a hospital, he said.

A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.
