A motorist in South Los Angeles was shot and killed Sunday while standing outside his vehicle.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was standing outside his vehicle just after midnight in the area of 45th and Hoover streets when a suspect in a black vehicle shot at the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD‘s Media Relation Section.
Police believe the shooting attack was gang-related, she said.
Homicide detectives at the LAPD’s 77th Street station asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at (213) 485-4164.
