A 21-year-old man who was killed in Sun Valley in a crash involving two motorcycles, at least one of them a three-wheeler that overturned, was identified Friday by authorities.
A hydrant and light pole were sheared in the crash, which was reported at 3:19 p.m. Thursday in the 11900 block of Saticoy Street near Radford Avenue, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The victim, identified by the county coroner’s office as 21-year-old Khachik Boyadzhyan of North Hollywood, was pronounced dead at the scene and no one else was injured, Stewart said.
Reports from the scene showed an overturned three-wheel vehicle and another nearby that was intact.
The crash closed a stretch of Saticoy Street between Lankershim and Laurel Canyon boulevards.
