A woman was stabbed numerous times Friday in a bloody Long Beach attack and police arrested a “male juvenile” as a suspect.
Police did not disclose the age of the suspect, nor if the two have any kind of relationship. There was no word of a possible motive.
Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Pacific Avenue around 2:40 a.m. in response to a call reporting an assault with a knife, said Long Beach police Lt. Omar Martinez.
Police found the woman suffering from stab wounds to her “torso and extremities,” he said, adding the wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspect was found nearby and arrested, Martinez said. The relationship between the suspect and the victim was not immediately clear.
