Police Friday are looking for two men wanted for the shooting death of a 25-year-old Los Angeles man in the West Adams district.

Officers responded about 3:55 p.m. Thursday to a report of a shooting in the 2900 block of Crenshaw Boulevard, near Jefferson Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim, identified by the county coroner’s office as Lamar Thompson, was pronounced dead at the scene near a Smart & Final store.

A vehicle with what appeared to be a bullet hole in the passenger side of its front windshield was visible near the victim.

Two male suspects, one of them believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, fled the scene in a blue newer-model SUV last seen headed south on Crenshaw Boulevard, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD’s Media Relations Division.
