A juvenile female was shot in the neck in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles, police said Sunday.
The shooting occurred at 11:50 p.m. Saturday on West 51st Place near South Western Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Ted Urena said.
The female was conscious and breathing when she was transported to the hospital, he said.
There is no suspect information, Urena said.
