Deadly violence broke out early Friday at a Pomona apartment complex as an argument ended up with a 21-year-old boyfriend stabbed and his girlfriend booked on suspicion of murder.
The crime occurred just after midnight outside an apartment complex in the 2200 block of West Valley Boulevard, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Cheyenne Lynwood, 20, of Pomona was arrested at the scene and was held on $2 million bail, police said.
Officers and paramedics were sent to the apartment building after receiving 911 calls of a disturbance and found the victim in a vehicle suffering from a stab wound.
“Homicide detectives were called out to investigate,” police said. “During their investigation, it was learned that a domestic violence incident occurred between the suspect and her boyfriend.”
The Pomona resident’s name was withheld pending notification of his family.
