
A tanker truck carrying helium overturned on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in the Baldwin Park area, forcing the full closure of one side of the freeway.
No one was injured in the wreck, according to a report from the scene.
The tanker overturned Tuesday night just east of the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Eastbound traffic was diverted onto the San Gabriel River Freeway and a SigAlert was issued about 8:30 p.m., according to the CHP, which reported that the closure could last up to five hours.
A fire department hazardous materials crew was summoned to the scene, the CHP reported.
All lanes were open around 11:30 p.m.
