A man was fatally shot in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, police said Saturday.
The shooting was reported at 11 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Cochran Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
When officers arrived, they found the victim unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Arriving paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The victim was a part of a group drinking in the streets prior to the shooting, which is believed to be gang-related, said Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD’s Media Relation Section.
