A fire damaged a condominium in Beverly Hills Friday, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to the 200 block of Lasky Drive at 7:54 a.m. extinguished the flames in about a half hour, said Battalion Chief Dave Perusse of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.

No one was hurt, but a dog died in a third-floor unit that was damaged by fire, Perusse said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Firefighters from the Los Angeles city and county fire departments assisted Beverly hills personnel in battling the flames.
