
Authorities Friday identified one of two pedestrians struck by a vehicle and killed in Huntington Park on Halloween night.
The crash was was reported about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Pacific Boulevard and 53rd Street, according to Huntington Park Police Sgt. Joe Settles.

Alejandra Armijo, 43, and a 44-year-old man died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office. The man’s name was withheld, pending notification of relatives. The victims were believed to have been homeless.
The driver of the vehicle that hit them stopped and cooperated with investigators, according Settles. The driver was not suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, he said.
