The Coroner’s Office Sunday released the names of a boy and woman who were killed at a two-vehicle crash on Venice Boulevard in West Los Angeles.
They were identified as Elmer Aldair Miguel Lopez, 14, and Tulia Lopez De Miguel, 55, said Investigator Rudy Molano of the coroner’s office.
Molano said he had no place of residence for either person. It was not immediately known if they were related.
The crash was at 2:40 a.m. Saturday at 6050 W. Venice Blvd., according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department. That address is virtually under the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, just east of La Cienega Boulevard.
The child and woman were traveling in one vehicle. From the other vehicle, a man was transported in cardiac arrest and a woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Bastman said.
No details about the crash were available from Los Angeles police.
