A man was killed Sunday when he leapt to his death from the top of the parking structure at the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs.
Officers responded at 4:25 a.m. to 401 E. Amado Road in response to a possible suicidal man seated on the ledge of the parking structure, the Palm Springs Police Department reported.
“As officers were beginning to arrive, the subject fell from the ledge and was later pronounced deceased by the Palm Springs Fire Department,” according to a news statement. “At this point, there is no indication that any criminal activity was involved in the subject’s death.”
There were no other details yet available about the man’s identity or a possible motive for the suicide.
