A man riding a motorcycle was hospitalized Sunday after his bike collided with another vehicle on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in West Covina and temporarily shut down several highway lanes, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash took place on the westbound 10 Freeway at Holt Avenue about 3:20 p.m., according to CHP Officer Stephan Brandt.
The crash shut down the number 1 and 2 lanes, Brandt said.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital for treatment of his injuries by West Covina Fire Department paramedics, Brandt continued. His current condition was unknown.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 4 p.m. Brandt said. The lanes were expected to be cleared before 5 p.m.
