
A motorcyclist crashed and suffered major injuries Monday on Interstate 10 in Banning.
The crash was reported at noon on the westbound side of the freeway approaching Highland Springs Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A motorist reported to a CHP dispatcher that the rider was lying in the number one lane and the motorcycle was resting in the shoulder.
