A transient was wounded Monday by a gunman who fired a shot through his tent, authorities said.
It happened about 12:30 a.m. at Wilshire Boulevard and Coronado Street, said Sgt. Ricardo Acosta of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Station.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to his right arm, Acosta said. He was taken to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable.
No suspect information was available.
