Police Saturday found a 34-year-old man shot dead in the hallway of an apartment complex in Panorama City.
The man had just left his unit when he was shot several times by unknown suspects, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Officers dispatched at 3:58 a.m. to the 9000 block of Tobias Avenue on an ambulance shooting call found the victim in a hallway suffering from several gunshot wounds, Eisenman said.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene at 4:22 a.m. and his name will be released pending notification of next of kin, said Lt. Dave Smith of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
