A bicyclist who was hit by a truck and killed in Pomona was identified Thursday.
Paramedics were sent to Pomona Boulevard at Pacific Street about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Robert Evans, 49, died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. His hometown was not known.
The truck driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by police. Pomona Boulevard was closed in the area while an investigation was conducted.
