A 21-year-old man is in custody Tuesday morning on suspicion he stabbed his father in the neck multiple times and attacked another man inside a Sherman Oaks home.
Police were called about 1 a.m. to the 4600 block of Burnet Avenue by the mother of the suspect and found the suspect’s father in a bedroom with several stab wounds to the neck, according to Officer Norma Eisenman with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, she said.
A second victim was found with stab wounds and taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Eisenman said.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, she said.
The motive for the attacks is unknown.
