More than a dozen employees at an aerospace facility in Valencia were exposed to an unknown chemical and treated by firefighters, authorities said Tuesday.
Crews were called about 10:45 p.m. Monday to Esterline TA Aerospace at 28065 Franklin Parkway and located several victims suffering from difficulty breathing, but were unable to determine what the irritant was, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A total of 15 patients were transported to a hospital in unknown condition, a fire official said.
