A teenage boy killed when a Pocket Bike and a car collided in South Los Angeles has been publicly identified.

He was Jalen McFrazier, 17, of Los Angeles, coroner’s Investigator Jerry McKibben said.

The crash was reported at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at Broadway and 91st Place, Sgt. M. Arana of the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division said.

McFrazier was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Another teenage boy was injured, but his condition was not available.

The man driving the car stopped after the crash, Arana said.

Pocket Bikes are miniature motorcycles, which are illegal to ride on public streets in California.
