A ruptured gas line at a construction site near LAX Thursday morning prompted a street closure near Parking Lot C.
Airport Boulevard is closed in both directions between Westchester Parkway and 96th Street, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Airport Police Department.
Motorists were asked to use an alternate route such as Aviation or Sepulveda boulevards until the street is re-opened, the statement said. No estimate was available for when the road would re-open.
