Two men were wounded Saturday when they went to a South Los Angeles intersection to resolve a dispute with other men they were conducting over Facebook, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 2:45 p.m. at Hoover Street and Gage Avenue, Sgt. A. Kaspian of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station said.
“They were having a dispute over Facebook about a gang or territory and went to settle it,” Kaspian said.
Two men believed about 18 years-old were shot in the upper body and had stable vital signs in hospitals, while two shooters believed between 18 and 20 years old fled the scene, he said.
