Police Wednesday were seeking three suspects who burglarized Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig’s Encino home.

The break-in — the second within a month at the residence in the 5300 block of Louise Avenue — occurred about 8 p.m. Tuesday while the right fielder was at Dodger Stadium for his team’s 10-inning victory over the Colorado Rockies.

The suspects ransacked the home and located a safe in the second-floor master bedroom, dragging it downstairs, through the living room and to the front door entrance. They left the safe at the front-door entrance, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Dragging the safe caused approximately $10,000 in damage to the house. An inventory was being conducted to determine the amount of property taken, police said.

The suspects fled in a black four-door Toyota with paper plates, police said.

The same suspects were believed to be involved in an attempted burglary at the residence about 11 p.m. on Aug. 30.

Two suspects were described as 20-to-25-year-old black men with slim builds, between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing between 160 to 190 pounds. The description of the driver, the third suspect, was unknown.

TMZ.com reported that police were called to the residence after one of Puig’s assistants received a security alert on his phone, showing three men leaving the outfielder’s property.

“Yasiel has a security camera set up that captures motion, and it automatically sends the video to a cell phone programmed to receive it,” according to TMZ. “When Yasiel’s associate saw the footage, he immediately called police … but the bad guys had already fled. We’re told the men broke in through the back door … smashing it open.”

This was the fourth time Puig has been the victim of a burglary in the past two years, according to TMZ.

Puig’s Encino residence was burglarized in November following the club’s loss to the Houston Astros in Game 7 of the World Series. In March 2017, a Sherman Oaks house belonging to Puig was targeted in a burglary that resulted in the loss of about $170,000 worth of jewelry.

The LAPD’s Commercial Crimes Division-Burglary Special Section asked anyone with any information regarding the burglaries to call it at (213) 486-6940.
