A pregnant woman and her fetus were killed in a single vehicle crash in Inglewood, police said Thursday.
Officers responded about 8:35 a.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Florence and Isis avenues and located a Toyota Corolla that crashed into a concrete traffic barrier while traveling northbound on Isis Avenue, said Sgt. Jeff LaGreek of the Inglewood Police Department.
The woman was transported to a hospital where she and the fetus later died, LaGreek said.
Detectives investigated if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash, he said.
