A 48-year-old delivery driver from Upland who was reported missing in the Brea area by his employer was found safe Wednesday in Industry, and there was no sign of foul play.
Around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, Brea police responded to the area of Midbury Street and Sandalwood Drive after being contacted by Cole Barrett’s employer, who said he had not checked in as was his routine.
“There’s been absolutely no contact, it’s just like he’s disappeared,” Barrett’s wife, Julene, told NBC4. “So we don’t know what’s going on.”

Brea police detectives conducted a house-to-house search, but were unable to find Barrett, police said.
“The hills just north of this area were then searched with the assistance of (the) Anaheim Police Department’s helicopter and a Pomona police bloodhound,” police said. “Unfortunately, officers were not able to locate him.”
Around midday Wednesday, police said that Barrett had been spotted at two locations in Industry, and investigators began searching in that city. By 1:20 p.m., Brea police announced that Barrett had been found unharmed, and he was determined to have been “a voluntary missing adult,” and was reunited with his family.
