A fire at an encampment beneath the Foothill (210) Freeway in Sunland was extinguished Thursday evening.
Firefighters responded at 9:41 p.m. Thursday to the 9200 block of Foothill Boulevard, south of the Angeles National Golf Club and east of the northbound freeway, where they found the approximately 50-foot by 50-foot fire at the encampment, said LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
Additional resources, including a water tender, were requested and injuries reported
