A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in Boyle Heights, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 5:14 p.m. Sunday at Fairmount Street and Evergreen Avenue, a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center said.
The man was walking inside a crosswalk when he was struck, she said. He was pronounced dead at County USC Medical Center.
No information about the vehicle and its driver was immediately available.
