A motorcyclist who died in a crash on the Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood Sunday was identified as a 50-year-old man.
The crash occurred about 2:40 a.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway near the Ventura (101) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jose Martinez Diaz De Leon was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
A Sigalert issued at 3:14 a.m. closing all southbound lanes of the 170 Freeway was canceled at 7:02 a.m., the CHP stated.
