Three men were hospitalized Wednesday, one in critical condition, following a shooting near Manual Arts High School in the Exposition Park area of Los Angeles.
Officers responded about 10 p.m. Tuesday to an area near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and 40th Place and located the victims, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
One victim was shot in the upper body and was transported to a hospital in critical condition, NBC4 reported. The other two victims suffered gunshot wounds to a leg and were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The suspect or suspects fled in a dark Chevy Camaro, NBC4 said.
A detailed description of the suspected shooter or shooters was not immediately available.
