A car crashed into a Yogurtland restaurant in Huntington Beach, but no was injured, police said Thursday.

Officers responded about 10:45 p.m. Wednesay to the 7500 block of Edinger Avenue and located the crashed vehicle, according to Lt. J. Haught of the Huntington Beach Police Department.

No one was injured and it was unclear if wet streets from the rain were a factor in the crash, Haught said.

The vehicle went through the front window of the business, located in the Edinger Plaza Shopping Center, and sent glass flying toward some people who had been standing nearby, a news videographer reported from the scene. The business was open at the time of the accident.

Huntington Beach firefighters responded to the scene and boarded up the broken window, he said.
