Police Wednesday released surveillance video of a man wanted in a six armed robberies in Long Beach.
The suspect struck at various times, from 4:45 to 10:40 p.m., between Nov. 27 and last Friday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
A variety of businesses were targeted, including restaurants, a pet store and a wireless store, at the following dates and locations:
— Nov. 27, 2100 block of South Street;
— Nov. 27, 4000 block of Atlantic Avenue;
— Dec. 5, 3300 block of East Anaheim Street;
— Dec. 5, 1900 block of Ximeno Avenue;
— Dec. 5, 2500 block of Long Beach Boulevard; and
— Dec. 7, 700 block of Long Beach Boulevard.

“In each of the incidents, the suspect armed with a handgun approaches the cashier attempting to purchase an item,” according to a police statement. “Once the cashier opens the till the suspect then robs the cashier and flees the location.”
Police had previously released a security photo of the gunman, who was described as black, 40-50 years old with a medium build.
