An officer-involved shooting occurred at the end of a short pursuit in Pasadena, but no injuries were reported, authorities said Friday morning.
Officers attempted to make a routine traffic stop in the 1300 block of North Raymond Avenue about 10 p.m. Thursday but the driver fled northbound and a short pursuit began, according to a statement from the Pasadena Police Department.
The suspect lost control of his vehicle and crashed near the Mountain View Cemetery at Raymond Avenue and Woodbury Boulevard and the vehicle ended up facing arriving officers, the statement said.
Officers ordered the driver and a passenger out of the vehicle, but they did not comply, police said.
The driver then started the vehicle and drove directly at officers in an attempt to get away and one officer fired his weapon, but no one was hit, police said.
Two suspects were arrested and no injuries were reported.
The ages and names of the suspects were not released.
