A woman found in the stairwell of a dorm on the University of La Verne campus says she was physically assaulted and the person she said attacked her was at-large Wednesday morning.
The woman told officers she was attacked by a man wearing a ski mask about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to a statement from the La Verne Police Department.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but the woman declined medical treatment, police said.
The victim has previously reported threats against her that are still being investigated by La Verne police, the statement said.
Spring semester final exams are underway at the school.
